E-signature
How to send it for e-signature
Usually, download the invoice and use your normal billing channel. If you need a signed receipt acknowledgment, enable that section and review its limited meaning. Finish the document and review the full preview with the other party. Check names, dates, payment terms and every selected option. Resolve any state-specific requirements and attach referenced schedules before signing. Download the final document, sign in to Demand Signatures, and upload it to your document workflow. Add the correct recipients, place each person's signature and date fields, review the document, and send it. Keep the completed copy with its attachments. A signature does not replace required disclosures, witnesses, notarization or filing.
FAQs
Common questions
- Does an invoice need a signature?
- Many routine invoices do not. Use the optional acknowledgment only if you need a receipt-of-document record.
- Can I add late fees now?
- Do not assume the invoice creates new rights; check the existing agreement and applicable law.
- Does this collect payment?
- This document explains how to pay; it does not process a payment.
- Does the builder choose my tax rate?
- No; verify the relevant tax treatment separately.
