How should I handle a signing link?

Treat a signing link as private. Use the invitation intended for you and ask the sender to resolve an incorrect recipient or expired link.

Steps#

1. Check that the invitation and displayed signer identity are yours.
2. Do not forward the signing link or paste it into a public message or support screenshot.
3. If the identity is wrong, stop and contact the sender through a known channel.
4. If the page says the link expired, ask the sender for help getting a valid invitation.
5. Describe any error to support without including the token-bearing URL.
